Boots

anyone have any good advice on boots.I'm trying to find a reasonable pair that are comfortable. The pair I had down at JI were danner but were too lightwieght and killed my feet all weekend. Are original S.W.A.T. boot good or is there some brand out that is a good all around boot.

Original SWATS are good, I myself have a pair of Magnum side zip boots. They are primarily an urban enviroment boot but I haven't had any traction issues on the rough terrain of JI and such. They are also reasonably priced... of course if price isn't so much a concern than Matterhorn, and Corcoran both make some excellent boots as well. I believe mine cost in the $40 region, I used to have a pair of Matterhorn Best Defense Gore-Tex boots which cost about $170... I think I'm now either a corcoran or magnum man..

Magnum, and Original SWAT are two different companies... sorry if I made it sound like magnum was made by Original SWAT... I neglected a comma there.
