Reg Banner...???

I can get a banner made full color 36"x24" for about $40!!!!

My question is what do we do with the "A5OG" keep it or loose it.
If we vote to loose it what do think about having just the star? or do you guys want somthing to knock out the center of the star like the type did?
or Do you think the banner should be just the REG tab? or don't change the Tab and Star and get the job done....

I would like to be able to add other logos to the banner too later... but then the background would have to be white...????

I do like the way it looks with the A5OG, but it is not alive any more so it doesn't make sense.

I tried mocking up a few different things with the letters in PS;
ie: SW (Southwest) SF (Special Forces) or both

And to tell ya the truth none of them look like they should be there.
Its sad but the A5OG looks the best inside.

Maj, did you come up with any idea's?

I uploaded a couple of quick mock ups that I did, just to give us an idea of plain vs. type.

I love this idea Maj! We do need a banner or flag or something to show our colors. I like Dee's second mock up with just the star and the regulator tab above. I also think the REGULATOR tab by itself looks awsome too.

I do like the a5og in the star, but like ya said its gone the way of the DOO DOO. I guess its time to move on.

I would be happy with either of those two idea's. I will leave the final dicision to you two at the top.

I'm thinking maybe a thin and long banner with just the REG tab.
Then later when we get sponsors we can add another banner under it with all the Company logos.

On the A5OG thing.. Its still alive but in a coma now, being just a part of the PBOG. so.. maybe we should be the ones that keep it alive???? I don't know...

Maybe we are just to late to one now... I hate to rush it and come up with something better later.... and then be stuck with it. But Like D said "We need It". This game is big exposure for us.

Any other ideas for the center or what ever? Keep feed'n me ideas, any ideas...

My 2 cents is that in the mean time leave it A5OG, folks still know that we're related to the site, hell I don't think most even know it gone.
Maybe we can be the ones that keep it and the SF alive out here on the left coast.

Another thing, its only forty bucks.... that ain't shit.... thats like 5 bucks a piece. I piss that much away in gas by just starting my truck!

When we change our design I'd be down to pay that and more for a full color version.
So I'd say get a basic one done with the current Logo for this event, we gotta make ourselves look as proffesional off the field as we do on it.

My vote is the original a5og star with the regulato tab and our web address below. My truck only gets 10mpg so I can spare a gallon or two for the cause.

I'd say as big as we can get it, just so it can be seen by folks 20-30 yards out.
