SOoo fuk, the only thing I know, that would put us back on the map, is REG School. Never been done before?

When cadets (Anyone who is willing to complete the course) graduate they are given the TAB. Like the Rangers in the Mily awarding other units.

They/We will learn how to shoot, move and communicate, as a fucking unit.

Not a bunch of huddled masses, yelling nonsense!

but I digress.

I'am seeking everyone's (Active as of Last Meeting) approval for the use of the Tab.

You know you have my support. Not only in words but more importantly in participation. Actually this is big reason i asked you for help running MAG game missions to get you in front of people and gain interest. D3 was another great opportunity to promote yourself and the Regs. Do it.

I approve but I have some thoughts.

I think we really need to get together, take stock and find an effective recruiting strategy or we will die. Other teams do it without the hoops and ladders. We should be able to do it by name alone ... get our cred back. Not talk about new recruits .. GET new recruits.

Also, going to be a hard sell charging for it and not many people are going to leave their current teams. I'd chat with the other team leaders before I start giving away patches that may or may not be welcomed as part o their uniforms and I'd still bet 95% of them will end up in patch shadow boxes.

If we do it, I would suggest a new rocker design or new purchase for that purpose. My thought process when I bought the last batch of patches for the team was they were for the Regulators. I don't think either the insignia or rocker should be used for non-regs.

Gizmo there are a couple points in your statement that are misunderstandings.

"going to be a hard sell charging for it" Since I'm not planning on making money from this should not be a problem. When the cadets participate in a mfog or the like they pay what they normally would.

"not many people are going to leave their current teams" The School is not to get other team players to join our team. These players take the knowledge to teach their teams.

Apon completing the school they will be REG Qualified (Rocker) but a NOT a member of the REG company/team (Star).

This is an effort to do something for the community that no one else is doing.
Ths will give us credence and exposure. These two things should make us interesting to players who are looking for a team.

I think its a great concept. especially for any player that has never participated in the military or any civilian combat course who has no clue what they are doing. I'm more concerned that most people wont have the patients to be schooled about tactics when its paintball, then again those aren't the people your looking for.

Being Subtle, I expect would make it more desirable.

This would be my only concern for your idea Mage. I guess you won't really find out if enough people would be interested in this sort of thing until it's done. We saw some good numbers at your training for D3 but IMO the classroom isn't going to be enough for most. Would need some hands on/field training stuff to go with it or you lose participants real quick.
