those blue-ray bastards!

they stole my movie away! I was dreaming of a movie in HD-DVD, oh how sweet it would be to see but alas no! They took it and locked it in prison. That prison has a name and it is Blue-Ray!

So now all hope is lost to ever see Blackhawk Down in HD-DVD. Damn it!

There seems to be quite a few movies that we are damned not to watch in HD (at least for a while)

HD DVD needs to hurry up and win this war

(blu-Ray) vs. (HD DVD)

the only way bluray will fail is if ps3 does.. you get a 200$ bluray player with your ps3 purchase.. not bad. you dont get that with your xbox360 unless you pay the extra to make it the same price as a ps3

you have no friends here Mr. Playstation 3! That there Xbox 360 is system of choice around these parts.

We shall let rhe consumer decide who shall emerge victorious!

bluray is a sony produced format for higher density dvd(55gigs per dvd or so if i remember)

hd-dvd is a panasonic(?) produced format for higher density dvd(50gigs per dvd or so)

sony is packaging bluray players with the ps3, ms is selling it as a 200$ addon for the xbox360(thus making them the same price). apparently there are a lot of xbox homers here and they are very misguided!

that said there is a new hd-dvd/bluray dual player on the market from one of the major brands.. i think its LG?
