Reindeer Games IV
Location: Oroville, CA
Date: December 13th and 14th, 2008
Stockings are being hung along the chimney with care, lights are going up, there’s a chill in the air. Lists are being drafted, parties are being planned, boots are being polished, and A5s are being manned. It’s that time of year again folks, and no, I’m not talking about Christmas or Hanukkah; I’m talking about the single most exciting milsim event of the season. I’m talking Reindeer Games baby!
The Southwest Regulators captured their 6th MVT during another bitter cold, rain-drenched weekend. The Regulators were in full force—fourteen strong—doing their part to tip the balance of the game. Whether it was carrying out special missions for Santa or defending his CP against impossible odds, the Regulators made their presence known. It seemed everywhere you looked; the small band of Regulators had an impact on and off the field.
The Regulators ended the year strong and plan on bringing their prowess to the field in 2009.

Decay of Nations II: Broken Alliances
Location: SC Village - Corona, CA
Date: August 23 & 24, 2008
It was a grueling weekend but the blazing sun didn't stop the Southwest Regulators from hitting the field late August to attend SC Village's Decay of Nations II, a 24 hour milsim scenario in Corona, California. It was the largest turnout for the Regulators yet.
Regulators were seen trekking through a river, waist deep in murky water to gain tactical advantage over the opposition. They were a force through the brush and were constantly tackling the terrain looking for ways to outflank the enemy. And it didn't stop there. The Regulators also showed their compassion as two of their members unselfishly pulled themselves from the game to help a fellow Ekron player that suddenly became sick.
New faces continue to show up at Regulator base camp which proves the Southwest Regulators will have an ever increasing presence at milsim paintball scenario events now and in the future.
